Compatibility

Compatibility is declared per package and release.

Before installation or upgrade, confirm:

• supported Umbraco major/minor versions
• supported .NET/runtime requirements where relevant
• load-balanced or infrastructure requirements
• breaking changes in release notes

Do not assume that support for one Umbraco major automatically implies binary compatibility with another.
